In South Africa, MBSA(Mercedes Benz of SA) built the Civic as the Ballade only in 4dr. Mercedes Benz of South Africa also released a special edition AMG version of the Ballade model. The Honda Ballade 160i(D16A) AMG and 180i(B18B4) AMG they had two type’s of alloys. The 16 inch AMG Remotec or 15 inch Aluline by Remotec (more info below), a 40mm Eibach lowered suspension, a bigger rear spoiler and AMG emblems on the spoiler, trunk lid and the centre caps of the wheels. The AMG version was purely aesthetic. Standard equipment was leather interior, air con, power-steering and ABS.
The forest eg is an EG limited edition based on the EG silverstone version. It is based on the EDM silverstone d15b2 editions. It’s only sold in a special dark green. It does not have much cool options compared to other limited editions. It has a black interior, a one piece spoiler, 14 inch wheels (same as the silverstone) and some forest badges on the c-pillar and rear hatch. The coolest feature are the forest badges in the interior. It shows which model you have out of the 250 that were made. They are installed where you would usually expect the acc. buttons and switches so you cant really deck this model out without losing it’s main feature which is a shame. Still a cool and relatively unknown limited edition!
photos thanks to the eg squad!
not much is known about this model. It had red and black seats and a special graphic on each side. It’s kind of a loch ness monster of the eg limited editions, because everyone has heard of it but no one has ever seen a picture of it except for those seats. Apparently it’s only sold in the chubuchiku region of japan but it is unknown how much models are sold.
